A POLICE dispersal order is in place on Anglesey this weekend.
North Wales Police has issued the order in the Amlwch area (including Bull Bay, Penysarn, Twercelyn and Pengorffwysa) in order to combat incidents of anti-social behaviour (ASB) and harassment in recent days.
The order, under section 35 of the ASB Crime & Policing Act 2014, came into force on Friday afternoon as in place until 3pm on Sunday.
When a section 35 is in place, a constable in uniform may direct a person who is in a public place in the locality specified in the authorisation to leave the locality and to not return to the locality (or part of the locality) for the period specified.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "This is a proactive power used by the police to keep people safe and we urge communities to work with us and report any information.
"You can contact us via our live webchat or on 101. Alternatively, you can anonymously contact CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111."
