EXACTLY 2,400 new cases of COVID have been reported in Wales today.

In the latest update from Public Health Wales on Friday (19th November) there have been 2,400 cases reported, with 592 in North Wales.

Sadly, in the last 24 hours 8 people have died following a positive Coronavirus test, taking the death toll in Wales to 6,342.

The latest cases in North Wales can be broken down into:

  • Gwynedd - 182
  • Wrexham - 135
  • Flintshire - 88
  • Denbighshire - 73
  • Conwy - 69
  • Anglesey - 45

The seven-day rolling infection rate in Wales as a whole is now 512.5 cases per 100,000 people. In North Wales, both Gwynedd and Wrexham are above the national average.
