NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 13 of Gwynedd’s establishments – and it’s good news for them all.
The Food Standards Agency carried out the inspections at restaurants, cafes, pubs, bars and takeaways, in locations including Bangor, Penygroes, Tywyn and Dolgellau from September to November.
The agency rates the food hygiene practices of hospitality businesses out of five, according to criteria such as food handling, storage, cleanliness of facilities, and staff knowledge of hygiene practices.
And it is good news for people wanting to dine out or go for drink, as they can be assured that there are businesses who follow the best hygiene practices.
