MORE than 2,300 new cases of covid have been recorded in Wales today.
In the latest update from Public Health Wales on November 17, it is reported that 2,350 people have tested positive for the virus.
Sadly, an additional 17 people have died after a positive coronavirus test, making the total deaths in Wales 6,314.
In North Wales, there were 452 new cases of the virus recorded.
These can be broken down to:
Wrexham - 101
Gwynedd - 101
Flintshire - 100
Denbighshire - 65
Conwy - 51
Anglesey - 34
The seven-day rolling infection rate in Wales as a whole is now 498 cases per 100,000 people. In North Wales, only the rate in Gwynedd is above the national average.
