POLICE have arrested a man and remain in search of another, both in connection with a robbery in the Caernarfon area on Tuesday.

William Martin Tate - known as Martin Tate – is wanted in connection with the robbery and numerous other offences, and is known to have links to the Caernarfon and Pwllheli areas.

North Wales Police said in a statement today (October 8): “We can confirm that a 42-year-old man has been arrested this morning in connection with a number of offences, including a robbery which occurred in the Caernarfon area on the afternoon of Tuesday, October 5.

“35-year-old William Martin Tate remains as wanted in connection with the robbery and other offences - and we continue to appeal to anybody who may have seen him, or who may know of his whereabouts, to contact us immediately.

“Tate is known to have links to the Caernarfon and Pwllheli areas.

“Anyone with information regarding their whereabouts should contact us on 101 or via the website: www.northwales.police.uk/contact/af/contact-us.
