TRAFFIC delays on Menai Bridge are expected for three weeks as works are carried out.
Traffic Wales said one lane will be closed on the suspension bridge from mid-September in order to maintain footways.
Traffic crossing the bridge along the A5 will need to be reduced into one lane from 9am to 3pm, with two-way signals in place.
Sections of the footway on both sides will be subject to work - pedestrians will need to use the footway on the other the side at that time. Repainting of parts of the bridge will also be carried out.
There will be no weekend works, though there will be 20-minute closures overnight to shot blast paint.
