A PERSON was taken to hospital following a crash near Caernarfon on Monday afternoon.
The Welsh Ambulance Service and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service were called to the incident on the A499 near Llandwrog, which took place at about 3.50pm.
Three people were involved in the incident.
A WAS spokesperson said: "We were called to attend a road traffic accident on the A499 near Llandwrog at 3.52pm on Monday.
"We sent one rapid response vehicle and one emergency ambulance to the scene where we were assisted by colleagues in the fire and police services.
"One patient was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd for further treatment."
A fire service spokesperson added: "We were called to a road traffic collision in Llandwrog at 4.09pm yesterday.
"Two vehicles and three people were involved. They were treated for shock."
