A 35-YEAR-OLD woman has been arrested on suspicion of assault of a child in Llangefni.
North Wales Police said a woman has been recalled to prison following the incident involving an 11-year-old boy.
It followed reports of a woman attempting to "grab hold of children in the street" in the town on Friday afternoon.
"We're aware of local concerns surrounding a woman attempting to grab hold of children in the street in the area of Llangefni," police said.
"Following reports, a 35-year-old woman was located and arrested for assault on an 11-year-old boy. The woman has now been recalled to prison.
"We'd like to reassure the local community that this was an isolated incident.
"There have been no further reports of similar behaviour and no further suspects are outstanding for this incident.
