HUNDREDS of new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in North Wales.
Public Health Wales figures released on Thursday (September 9) show 480 new cases have been confirmed in the region in the latest 24-hour period.
A full breakdown of new North Wales cases is as follows:
Anglesey - 52
Conwy - 93
Denbighshire - 69
Flintshire - 68
Gwynedd - 86
Wrexham - 112
Sadly, a further nine people who tested positive for coronavirus have died in Wales in the latest 24-hour period.
As of September 5, there were 89 people being treated for coronavirus in North Wales hospitals - which makes up roughly 4 per cent of all inpatients in the region's hospitals.
