NEARLY 600 newly reported cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the North Wales area, latest figures show.
Public Health Wales data released on September 3 shows that a total of 2,391 cases were reported across Wales, of which 570 were in the North.
A further six deaths were recorded throughout the whole of Wales.
The latest figures for North Wales can be broken down as such:
• Anglesey – 54
• Conwy – 137
• Denbighshire – 99
• Flintshire – 101
• Gwynedd – 105
• Wrexham – 74
Across Wales, another 2,391 COVID cases were confirmed in the latest figures, meaning that 286,256 people are now known to have contracted the coronavirus since the pandemic began.
There were six more deaths reported on Friday, with the figure at 5,688 across Wales since the start of the pandemic.
