AN accidental bungalow fire in Gwynedd on Sunday (August 29) required three crews to attend.

Services from Caernarfon, Llanberis and Bangor were called at about 10.25am to the incident in Ceunant, which was caused after an attempt to light a fire in a log burner.

A spokesperson for North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said the damage was ‘100 per cent to bungalow and contents’, and that three people were suffering from smoke inhalation.

Oxygen therapy was given to the casualties at the scene by the fire service, and a precautionary check was given by the Welsh Ambulance Service NHS Trust.
