GWYNEDD Archaeological Trust is to hold an open day next month to show off this year’s excavations to the public.
Taking place on Saturday, September 4 between 10am and 4pm at their base on Garth Road in Bangor, entry is free with no booking in advance required.
In a post on their Facebook page, Gwynedd Archaeological Trust added: “Park in the beach car park, meet behind the playground, next to the fish and chip shop, where the footpath starts to ascend the hillfort.
“Social distancing please. Don't attend if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.”
Formed in 1974, Gwynedd Archaeological Trust is one of four Welsh archaeological trusts working to help protect, record and interpret all aspects of the historic environment, and is a registered organisation with the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists.
