A PERSON was flown to a Bangor hospital after being rescued from waters off the coast of Anglesey this afternoon (August 25).
The Coastguard, lifeboat crews, four ambulances and one air ambulance were called to the incident, which took place shortly before 1pm.
A spokesperson for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: “We were called on Wednesday, August 25 at approximately 12.55pm to reports of a person having been rescued from the water in Rhosneigr.
“We responded with one rapid response vehicle, three emergency ambulances and our crews received the support of the Wales Air Ambulance.
“One patient was transported by air ambulance to Ysbyty Gwynedd.”
