THE fish at Anglesey Sea Zoo have started returning to their Big Fish Forest tank after completion of its renovation work.
The tank, the largest at the Sea Zoo, now features a new open roof, walkway and viewing platform, and can hold up to roughly 260,000 litres of sea water and 100 fish.
A post on their Facebook page on Wednesday read: “After months of hard work, we are very excited to finally be putting our fish back in their lovely renovated Big Fish Forest home!
“Have you spotted the amazing new open roof on the tank, and how clean and sparkly it all looks inside?
“We are now moving onto the final phase for the new exhibit, fitting the walkway up the side of the tank with a viewing platform so our visitors can watch talks, feeds and dives from above the tank.”
