The annual road surface dressing works programme on the Isle of Anglesey began yesterday (August 19).
Work will take place across the entire island, and all sites should have been completed by Sunday September, 5.
A post on the Isle of Anglesey County Council’s Facebook page on Wednesday said:
“The recent wet weather has disrupted our sub-contractors’ works in neighbouring local authorities. As a result, our programme has seen a slight delay.
“The programme could be extended for a few days if we experience unfavourable weather, as it will not be possible for our contractor to carry out the surface treatment if it is raining.
“This work will be undertaken by RMS again this year, on behalf of our main pavement contractor Hogan Construction Ltd.”
