Property search website Zoopla has revealed Gwynedd is the Welsh location with the most properties listed with period features.

A study by Zoopla reveals that almost a third (30 per cent) of properties for sale in Haringey, London have been listed as having period features, topping the list followed by Waltham Forest and Hammersmith & Fulham respectively with 28 per cent and 26 per cent of properties for sale boasting period features.

In Wales 17 per cent of properties in Gwynedd, Wales are of a historic nature.

Gwynedd is rich in history, sitting on the west coast with plenty of beaches, and is home to the popular Snowdonia National Park, so it’s perfect for period property lovers who also enjoy an aspect of adventure.

Scotland’s top area with the most period properties available is Argyll and Bute, with 15 per cent of properties for sale having either Edwardian, Victorian, Georgian or Tudor features.

Not only are you more likely to purchase a property with original features in this area, but the region has miles of coastline and stunning views for property buyers to enjoy.
