NORTH Wales Police officers were called to attend an incident involving a man on a bridge at Rhyl train station today.
Police had asked the public to 'stay away' from the area between Rhyl railway station and the H bridge.
Now, they have confirmed that a man was taken to hospital following the incident.
North Wales Police said: "NWP were called to the footbridge at #Rhyl Railway Station just before midday today after receiving calls reporting concerns about a man on the bridge.
"Following on from this a man in his late twenties was airlifted to Stoke for treatment. The railway line has now been reopened."
