A 42-YEAR-OLD man has been taken to hospital in Stoke following a serious assault in Llangefni.
North Wales Police and the Welsh Ambulance Service were called to the incident at the Market Vault pub just after 9.30pm on Thursday.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and remained in custody on Friday afternoon.
Police have appealed for information related to the incident.
Detective Chief Inspector Lee Boycott said: “Our investigation into the incident at the public house is currently ongoing and I would ask that anyone who witnessed the assault or who has any information that could help us to get in touch with police today.”
