The police presence has been stepped up in Bangor following the incident.
TWO men were assaulted during an incident in Bangor in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
North Wales Police was called to the incident on Mount Street just after midnight.
Police have since stepped up their presence in the area.
"Last night, just after midnight, we were called to an incident on Mount Street in Bangor in which two men have been assaulted," a post on the NWP Gwynedd North page said.
"Our investigation is currently ongoing which is why you may notice an increased police presence in the area today.
"If you have any information that could assist with our enquiries please contact us on 101 or via our website quoting ref z104544."
