MODERN day folk hero Max Boyce will return to the stage with a performance in Llandudno.

Boyce, 77, has been entertaining audiences for more than 40 years, having sold two million copies using his talent to paint pictures in word and song.

He has toured the most prolific concert halls in the world, including the Royal Albert Hall and the Sydney Opera House and even hosted his own prime-time television show, and now has a date planned for Venue Cymru.

The stage and screen star has become a legend in his own lifetime and through his albums and live recordings, a new wave of fans are discovering his exceptional talent.

He rose to fame in the mid-1970s with his unique combination of musical comedy and love for rugby, not forgetting his origins in the mining communities of South Wales.

Boyce’s live performances continue to wow crowds of all ages and the standing ovations speak for themselves.

The show takes place at Venue Cymru from 7.30pm on October 22.

Tickets are priced at £33.
