THERE have been 570 new cases of coronavirus in Wales, latest figures show.
Data released by Public Health Wales on July 2 show that 165 of the new cases of the virus were in North Wales.
Fortunately, there were no new covid-related deaths recorded in Wales.
Wrexham and Flintshire had the most cases again in North Wales.
In Wales as a whole, only Cardiff had more new cases with 83.

- Denbighshire 17
- Flintshire 49
- Gwynedd 25
- Wrexham 43
The infection rate in Wales as a whole has increased to 71.7 cases per 100,000 members of the population.
The average rates in all local authority areas in North Wales are higher than the national average.
Flintshire followed by Wrexham and Denbighshire have the highest rate of infection in Wales.
