THE panto will be back and bigger than ever before this Christmas – oh yes it will!

Aladdin has been confirmed for Venue Cymru later this year with the promise of hilarious family friendly pantomime to make everyone’s wishes come true this festive season and into the New Year.

The show, which sees the return of the hilarious John Evans as the hapless Wishee Washee, follows Aladdin as he falls in love with a princess - but as a reluctant helper in the laundry run by his mother Widow Twankey his prospects are not looking good.

That is until a mysterious magician arrives promising riches beyond his wildest dreams! Will Aladdin be able thwart the wicked Abanazar and win the heart of the Princess?

With tons of traditional panto slapstick and some fabulous musical numbers you will be singing for days afterwards.

Boo, hiss and cheer this pantomime season.

The popular venue will be working alongside new partner Imagine Theatre, the children's theatre based in Coventry, which facilitates productions in more than 50 venues across the UK. It has a massive collection of pantomime special effects and more than 20,000 costume and prop pieces

The shows take place from December 11 to January 2. There will also be a signed and audio described performance on December 18 and a relaxed performance on December 29.
