FROM road closures to major planning applications, the latest public notices in Wrexham have been revealed.

Wrexham Council has issued a series of public notices detailing the latest applications with consultation cut off dates, and the road closures that will affect motorists.

The latest planning applications are as follows:

P/2021/0386 Turnpike House, High Street, Bangor On Dee, Wrexham, LL13 0BU

Single storey rear extension – conservation area consent.

P/2021/0382 Bishops House, 17 Sontley Road, Wrexham, LL13 7EN

Listed building consent for demolition of existing porch and erection of new porch.

P/2021/0326 Halton Farm, Halton, Chirk, LL14 5BG

Extension to existing agricultural building.

Latest road closures:

Wrexham Council has made a temporary order prohibiting traffic on the following roads.

Minafon

From May 10, vehicles will not be able to use that length of Minafon, Wrexham in 3 phases:-

Phase 1 – Running from rear of 67 Minafon to rear of 54 Minafon.

Phase 2 – Running from rear of 53 Minafon to rear of 38 Minafon.

Phase 3 – Running from rear of 37 Minafon to dead end to enable Hafren Dyfrdwy to replace lead supplies.

There are no diversion routes due to each road being a dead end.

Access for pedestrians will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The prohibition is expected to last for 30 working days, or until completion of the works if earlier, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
