POLICE carried out two drugs warrant searches in Gwynedd on Thursday.

North Wales Police's Gwynedd North Tasking Team carried out a search at a property in Bangor following information on drugs dealing activity.

A warrant was also carried out at Talysarn, where Class B drugs were seized.

Police said on the NWP Gwynedd North page: "The Gwynedd North Tasking Team conducted another positive warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act in the Bangor area yesterday.

"We act on the information we receive, and our aim is to cause as much disruption to criminals' dealings as possible."

Another post read: "a Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act warrant yesterday at a property in Talysarn.

"A quantity of Class B drugs were seized."

Police added: "Drug dealing has a detrimental effect on our communities and is something we will continue to combat.

"Thank you to those that have, and continue to provide information on these individuals."
