FIRE crews were called to a gorse fire in Gwynedd last night which is believed to have been started deliberately.
North Wales Fire and Rescue tweeted last night to say they were dealing with an ‘ongoing incident’ in Cilgwyn in Gwynedd and urged people to avoid the area.
Images from the Snowdonia Mountain Community Facebook Group showed dramatic images of the scene and urged people to take care.
Fire crews were at the scene for around three hours and it is believed to have been deliberate ignition.
The fire spread across 4 acres and no injuries were reported.
