NORTH Wales is set to enjoy a sunny weekend – providing the perfect weather as lockdown rules shift to allow more flexibility with meeting outside.

Welsh Government previously confirmed that, at present, the current rule provides for up to six people (not including children under 11 years of age or carers) from a maximum of two households to meet outdoors.

The new rules from Saturday will allow six people (not including children under 11 years of age or carers) to meet outdoors.

People should observe social distancing from people from outside their household or support bubble when meeting others outside. The rules for meeting indoors remain unchanged.

The Met Office predict sunny skies with highs of between 17 and 18°C and long bursts of sunshine in the region this weekend, starting on Friday.

Remaining largely dry over the weekend and into the start of next week. Feeling warm in the day, with continued chance of rural frosts overnight.
