AN INVESTIGATION is being carried out following a landslide at the beach in Nefyn.
The incident happened on Monday (April 19).
Gwynedd Council said that arrangements have been made for an initial investigation of the cliff to be carried out.
In a statement yesterday, the local authority said: "A significant landslide has affected the beach in Nefyn with a large part of the cliff having fallen on the beach.
"Gwynedd Council officers are on site with the police and security measures have been taken including restricting access to parts of the beach.
"In the meantime, we are urging members of the public not to visit the area for the time being. Diolch."
