POLICE have confirmed the tragic death of a pensioner.
A North Wales Police spokesman confirmed that they received a call just before 10am on Friday morning, April 16, to an address in the Barmouth area.
Reports told of an incident on private land involving a tractor and a man.
The spokesman added: “Officers attended with colleagues from Welsh Ambulance Service and North Wales Fire and Rescue. Sadly, a 69-year-old man died.”
Chief Inspector Owain Llewelyn said: “We are currently investigating the circumstances of this tragic incident, and our thoughts are with the family at this sad time. We are not in a position to provide any further details at present.”
