A WOMAN was taken to hospital for smoke inhalation and hand burns following a fire in Llangefni.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said it sent two crews to the incident on Ger y Graig just before 3.30pm on Wednesday, March 24.
The fire, which involved a ground floor bedroom, was out on arrival, a fire service spokesperson said.
"We were called to a house fire in Llangefni (Ger y Graig) yesterday at 3.26pm," the spokesperson said.
"Two appliances attended. The fire was out on our arrival – involved ground floor bedroom.
"A woman was transferred to hospital via ambulance with smoke inhalation and slight burns to hands – she was discharged yesterday evening."
