A WOMAN has been arrested in Holyhead on suspicion of intent to supply Class A drugs.

North Wales Police said the woman, aged 41, was arrested on Wednesday afternoon.

A tweet on the NWP Anglesey page said: "This afternoon, a 41-year-old female from Holyhead has been arrested on suspicion of possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply."

Mathew Jones, Anglesey Tasking Team officer said: “This warrant would not have been possible without community information, which signifies how vital intelligence from the public is to successful policing.

"The community of Holyhead is tired of the dealers and as law enforcers, the policing team will gather and present the intelligence from the community to a court to secure warrants.

"This is part of a series of actions aiming to target those causing the most harm in Holyhead."
