Police made three arrests after suspected burglars forced their way into a Starbucks in Dolgellau.
North Wales Police's Gwynedd South team said that in the early hours of Sunday, January 17, local officers went to Starbucks in Dolgellau where an alarm was sounding.
Upon arriving on the scene, officers found that a window at the premises had been smashed.
A short time later police clocked a suspicious vehicle, which was stopped shortly before 4.15am in the Shrewsbury area.
Police said three men from the Staffordshire and West Midlands areas were later arrested on suspicion of burglary and have been released under investigation, subject to further enquiries.
A spokesperson for the Gwynedd South policing team said: "We would like to thank our colleagues in West Mercia for their fast actions, and also to give reassurance to the local community that it is still 'business usually' despite this challenging time."
