A FIRE started after a candle lit the fumes of an aerosol can at a house in Dolgallau.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service sent one crew to the incident on Tai Moelfryn, Fford Pont yr Aran on Sunday afternoon.
The incident caused five per cent smoke damage to floorboards in the property.
"We were called to Tai Moelfryn, Ffordd Pont yr Aran, Dolgellau ay 2.07pm on Sunday, January 17," a fire spokesperson said.
"One crew from Dolgellau attended.
"The fire was caused by a candle igniting fumes from an aerosol can.
"Approximately five per cent smoke damage was caused to the floorboards."
