THE ring of the banjo, accordion and harmonica will sound out in Colwyn Bay this summer as folk band Houghton Weavers stop off on a leg of their tour.
Their Keep Folk Smiling gig will take place at Theatr Colwyn on Saturday, September 25.
The band has been entertaining audiences for more than 40 years with their unique blend of popular folk music, humour and audience participation.
In their time together, the group has performed thousands of concerts, recorded over 30 albums and made a number of TV appearances including ‘This Is Your Life’ and led six series on Radio 2 featurng the likes of Cannon & Ball, Billy Connolly and Rick Wakeman.
The Weavers guarantee a wonderful evening of entertainment suitable for all the family.
