A MAN has been charged and remanded to appear before court in connection with an assault which happened in Holyhead on Monday.
Joseph Sean Ryan, 35, of Wood Street, Menai Bridge, has been charged with Section 18 wounding. He will appear before Caernarfon Magistrates Court this morning (Thursday, January 7).
A second man who was arrested, a 32-year-old from Holyhead, has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
The victim, David Parry, remains in a critical condition at hospital.
Detective Superintendent Mark Pierce said: “I would like to thank everyone who has assisted with this investigation so far, and although we have secured a charge, we continue to appeal to anybody who may have information to contact us immediately.”
