A MAN sustained "significant" injuries during an assault in Holyhead.
This incident happened shortly before 6pm on Monday, January 4.
Officers from North Wales Police attended after receiving a report of a serious assault at a flat within Waterside, Holyhead.
David Parry, a man from the area, sustained significant injuries.
Detective Superintendent Mark Pierce said: "I am appealing for information about who may have been present at Waterside flats, Holyhead between 12pm and 6.30pm on the afternoon of Monday, January 2.
"Two arrests have been made and our investigations are ongoing. It's vitally important for anyone with information, or any witnesses to this serious assault to come forward to help us with our inquiries.
"There will be an increased police presence in the area and officers will be happy to stop and engage with you should you have any information relating to this incident."
