POLICE have appealed to residents in north Gwynedd to "be vigilant" following a number of burglaries.
North Wales Police's local policing team for Gwynedd North said it is continuing to investigate incidents in Rhostryfan, Rhosgadfan, Carmel and Y Fron.
A number of items had been stolen from dwellings, sheds and outbuildings.
Police believe members of nearby communities know who is responsible for the burglaries and urged them to come forward.
Inspector Trystan Bevan said: “I am asking the communities of Rhosgadfan, Rhostryfan, Carmel and Y Fron to help the local policing team in preventing any further burglaries from taking place but also to assist us in identifying the individuals responsible for the incidents that have taken place over recent months.
“I am asking people to please lock away their valuables and ensure their property is safe and secure at all times. Working together we can prevent further occurrences from happening.
“I believe people in the local community know who is responsible for these burglaries or they will have witnessed suspicious activity. I would encourage anyone who may have information relating to the recent burglaries to please contact us and share that information.
"If you see any suspicious activity please call 101 or 999 if it’s an emergency.”
