A NEW walk-in Covid testing centre is opening in Deeside this weekend.
The centre will open at the Civic Hall in Connah’s Quay to make it easier for people in the area to get an appointment for a Covid-19 test closer to home.
People will need to make an appointment to have a test - to book one or to find out opening times and further information on testing centres across North Wales, please visit the Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board website, or phone 119.
The walk in testing station will be open from 8am – 8pm, seven days a week from the 7th December onwards.
Until then the centre will be operating reduced opening hours. On Saturday it will be open between 2pm and 5pm and on Sunday between 10am and 5pm.
Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board has thanked Connah’s Quay Town Council and Flintshire County Council for their support in helping to establish the walk-in testing centre.
