AN injured person was flown to hospital from Tywyn beach, it has been confirmed.
Mid and North West Wales Coastguard announced details of the incident on Sunday morning.
A spokesman said: "Aberdyfi and HM Coastguard Borth Coastguard Rescue teams were tasked to an injured female at Tywyn beach this morning along with the Welsh Ambulance and Caernarfon SAR helicopter.
"Casualty transferred to hospital by helicopter.
"We wish a speedy recovery."
