FIREFIGHTERS were called out to tackle a house blaze in Llay.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call shortly after 8.30pm on Monday reporting a blaze at an address in Watts Dyke.
One crew from Wrexham attended the scene but the blaze was out on arrival.
Firefighters used a thermal imaging camera and determined that the incident had been caused by a fault involving an electrical shower.
A total of 20 per cent fire damage was caused to the plastic shower casing and nobody was injured, a spokesman said.
The incident was declared over shortly after 8.50pm.
