A MAN has been charged by police after being filmed ripping off covers on 'non-essential' items in Tesco in Bangor.
The incident, which was filmed and widely circulated on social media, occurred on Friday evening.
And North Wales Police says 28-year-old Gwilym Owen, from Anglesey, has since been charged with criminal damage, several public order offences and contravention of the coronavirus regulations.
He has been granted conditional bail to appear at Caernarfon Magistrates court on November 24.
