A 24-year-old man has appeared before Mold crown court accused of murdering another young man at Bangor.
Brandon Sillence, of Toronnen, Bangor, is charged with killing Dean Skillin, aged 20, of Caernarfon.
Police said Mr Skillin died after a disturbance near the Waverley Hotel at Bangor at the weekend.
Judge Rhys Rowlands remanded Sillence in custody until a further hearing on December 11.
A provisional trial date was listed for March 22 at Caernarfon crown court.
He is also accused of assault causing actual bodily harm on Taylor Lock at the hotel.
