Ynys Môn MP, Virginia Crosbie, has teamed up with local female entrepreneurs and networkers to launch Anglesey's first ever Make It Your Business event this October.
Started by champion of female entrepreneurs, Alison Cork, in 2018 Make It Your Business offers help, networking, inspiration and support for women who want to start their own business.
As a result of COVID regulations this inaugural event featuring three inspirational speakers will take place online on October 9.
Women from across Anglesey are invited to register to attend the free event – whether they are already in business, planning their own business or just dreaming of what could be.
On the launch of Make It Your Business in Anglesey, Alison Cork said: "I am delighted to see Virginia bringing Make It Your Business to the island.
"If we can start to link women together, with ideas and support networks on Anglesey that would be amazing. I can't wait to see local female-led business flourish as a result."
Mrs Crosbie said: "I have seen how powerful the Make It Your Business events can be in bringing women together. I know that there are hundreds of women on Anglesey who have great ideas for running their own businesses, but often they struggle to make progress because of a lack of support, knowledge or confidence. Make It Your Business has helped hundreds of women to overcome those hurdles and I know it will help many on the island achieve their dreams."
Make It Your Business Ynys Môn will launch on October 9 at 4.30pm via a virtual Zoom link.
The event includes three inspirational speakers plus a question and answer session.
There will also be an opportunity to network.
