Wrexham police officers uncovered the drugs and cash after receiving word of a deal taking place in the town centre on Saturday [INSET IMAGE - Wrexham Town Police / Twitter]
OFFICERS in Wrexham have seized drugs and cash when stopping a drug deal from taking place in the town centre.
CCTV operators informed the local policing unit of the potential deal going ahead and officers responded on Saturday.
A spokesman for the Wrexham Town Policing Team said: “Yesterday, officers responded to information from @wrexhamcbc CCTV regarding a drug deal in the town centre.
“Officers attended and searched both males where drugs and a significant amount of cash were found.
“Both were arrested and searches of their homes produced more drugs.”
