ARMED POLICE were called to an incident in which a man was subsequently arrested for 'domestic related offences' on Anglesey this morning.
North Wales Police had urged people to 'stay away from the immediate vicinity' of the incident which occurred at around 10.30am in the Bron Y Graig area of Llangefni and went on for some time after.
They added that the incident was 'concluded peacefully'.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Further to our statement regarding an incident in Llangefni this morning, we can confirm that officers have arrested a local man on suspicion of domestic related offences.
"Although armed officers were in attendance, the incident was concluded peacefully and there are no further concerns for the general public. We would like to thank the local community for their assistance this morning."
