OFFICERS from North Wales Police's Rural Crime Team dealt with another dog attack on livestock in Gwynedd yesterday.

Following on from an attack in Gaerwen, Anglesey, just last week, the latest took place in Efailnewydd, near Pwllheli in Gwynedd.

The video above posted by the Rural Crime Team shows that at least eight ewes were killed during the incident which took place sometime between 3pm on Tuesday and 7am on Wednesday.

Rhys Evans, who was at the scene, described the incident as 'horrific'.

He added: "This is the result of a dog or dogs being let lose and set on the animals in the field. It's a horrific sight for people to see.

"We are now appealing for witnesses and will be making enquiries."

Anyone with information is asked to call 101.
