A WOMAN has been arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs to an 18-year-old who died on Anglesey.
North Wales Police and the Welsh Ambulance Service were called to an address on Thomas Street, Holyhead shortly after 6am on Friday, June 19, to reports of an 'unresponsive teenager'.
Despite their best efforts, Jade Mitchell, 18, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ds Arwel Hughes said: "Following the tragic death of Jade, a police investigation was commenced. As such we are keen to trace Jade’s last known movements. I would be grateful if anyone who saw or communicated with Jade on Thursday June 18 2020.or early into Friday morning (June 19) could contact North Wales Police quoting incident number Y087325.
"The coroner for North West Wales, Mr Dewi Pritchard Jones has been informed. Following enquiries, on Monday, a local woman was arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs.
"Our thoughts remain with Jade’s family and friends at this tragic time and we would ask that their privacy is respected."
