FIRE crews have been called back to Bangor Mountain.
On Saturday several teams of firefighters tackled a blaze on the mountain, as well as a separate incident on a mountain in Tregarth.
Just after 7.30pm North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the Bangor Mountain fire was under control and residents were able to return to their homes.
But at about 8.40am on Sunday morning a spokesman for the service told the Chronicle that crews were on their way back to the site after reports of smoke in the area.
One wildfire crew remained at the site damping down at midday.
