A gorse blaze which affected several acres of land has been extinguished, fire chiefs have said.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call just before 4.30pm on Friday reporting the incident - which involved "multiple seats of gorse" on Mynydd Bodafon.
On Saturday morning a spokesman for the service confirmed the fire had been extinguished.
The cause was confirmed to be a controlled burn which became out of control and the area affected was about four acress of "dead forestry and grass", the spokesman said.
Firefighters used 20,000 litres of water via two hose reel jets to bring the situation to an end by 9.30pm.
They remained on site until 10.15pm.
