CAMERA footage is being reviewed after a car was found with screws underneath its tyres.
The vehicle was found on Pen y Pass, Llanberis.
Rob Taylor, of the North Wales Police Rural Crime Team, tweeted on May 28: "Vehicle found on Pen y Pass, Llanberis. Parked without occupants.
"On checking the car we found someone had placed screws under the tyres
"Doing acts like this can be hazardous to the driver and is obviously potential criminal damage."
They added: "Appalling that someone thinks their justified to do such a stupid act
"The consequences of this car heading downhill and the driver suffering a blow out are unimaginable.
"We are now reviewing cameras to try and catch this irresponsible person.
"This is not the time for stupid vengeance and committing criminal acts that potentially put road users in danger.
"We condemn such irresponsible acts, at a time when we need unity."
