A CAERNARFON MAN has been jailed after being charged with five offences.
Simon Lilley, 38, was arrested in Llanfairpwll on Anglesey on Friday, May 15.
He was stopped and arrested by an off-duty police officer following information that a male was on CCTV acting suspiciously in the area.
The officer contacted his colleagues who found Lilley to be in possession of numerous items. He was charged with five offences; shoplifting, interference with a motor vehicle (x2), possession of a knife in a public place, theft from motor vehicle and going equipped to steal (having articles that could be used in connection with a burglary).
